Position summary:/h2:
This position is responsible for the overall functioning and day:to:day operation of the RIS PACS system. Assures proper staff training, daily system maintenance, troubleshooting, disaster planning, and management of the RIS and PACS system. The person in the position interfaces to the Centura wide RIS/PACS initiative for these facilities and to IT at these sites.
education requirements:/h2:
:High school diploma or GED
:Degree in business, medical related field, certificate/technical program graduate, preferred
work experience requirements:/h2:
One year of experience within a Radiology Department
Experience with a RIS/PACS system, preferred
Must possess strong computer skills
Exhibit strong teaching/training facilitation skills
Exhibit excellent communication (both written and oral) skills
Strong problem solving skills
:Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) preferred
Physical Requirements
Sedentary Work : prolonged periods of sitting and exert/lift up to 10 lbs. force occasionally.
