Work you'll do As a Senior Consultant within our Cyber Risk team, you will: Work with Federal clients to mitigate cyber risk and threatsIdentify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of workParticipate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issuesConduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reportsMaintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work productsAssist in proposal development, as requestedActively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clientsPerform Defensive Cyber Operations to protect, detect and respond to cyber threats and attack using SIEM, vulnerability assessment, discovery, infrastructure (firewall, IPS/IDS, proxy, network capture), host based security, penetration testing/external assessment tools, forensics, etc. The Team Transparency, innovation, collaboration, sustainability: these are the hallmark issues shaping Federal government initiatives today. Qualifications Required:Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, or related field2 years of relevant consulting or industry experienceProven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectivesDemonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audienceProficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research toolsAbility to maintain the required Secret clearance for this roleRequire a Defensive Cyber Operations SME with experience engineering cyber defensive capability. Candidate must have a solid understanding of cyber defensive technologies required to protect, detect and respond to cyber threats and attack. Technologies include SIEM, vulnerability assessment, discovery, infrastructure (firewall, IPS/IDS, proxy, network capture), host based security, penetration testing/external assessment tools, forensics, etc..Candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to engineer and implement computer network defense capability.
