Flying Horse Ranch is set on 1400 acres of beautiful Colorado landscape. The venue space includes our 14,000 square foot Ranch House, Elegant Ballroom, Bridal Suite, Grooms Quarters, Rustic Barn, Ceremony Sites, and more! The venue has been open for just over a year as an event venue, and sits on a fully functional ranch.
At least one ideal candidate will be able to start in May and stay through October (Colorado's wedding season)

• Schedule and attend site tours with clients
• Organize files, create floor plans and event timelines
• Learn to manage event staff and vendors
• Answer phones, fill out voicemail log as needed
• Attend final event walkthroughs
• Vendor confirmations and scheduling
• Compile leads list
• Work during weddings to understand all aspects of event management
• Assist with event set up and decor
• Greet guests and clients

Students applying for this internship must have strong communication skills and should be majoring in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing or a related field.
Applicants should also be comfortable with being on their feet for extended periods, and facing all weather.

Only interns with an interest in wedding planning, social event planning or marketing should apply.
