Agile Coach
Key Role:
Work with Booz Allen colleagues and DoD clients to architect, engineer, integrate, test, and deploy the Air Force s Enterprise Space Battle Management, Command, and Control (ESBMC2) system. Provide coaching and mentoring for Scrum or Agile teams. Develop and lead Scrum Masters and alleviate disruptions in the software development life cycle (SDLC) by identifying areas of improvement and conceptualizing methods on how to be more efficient. Work alongside other competencies to improve the overall Agile process across all projects. Improve communications within the SDLC to communicate expectations that are clear and delivered to all ears in the same way. Ensure messages are not misconstrued or incorrectly inferred and work to eliminate any confusion and misalignment that may hinder the ability to deliver software to customers. Build an environment where continuous improvement of the development process is constantly in focus and envision new ways to help teams work cohesively. This position is located in El Segundo, CA.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with software engineering and development for DoD programs
-5+ years of experience with leading Agile projects using an Agile Framework, including Scrum, Kanban, Extreme, or SAFe
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-BS degree in CS or Software Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with supporting a government system program office in the acquisition of large space systems within the DoD or government
-Experience with designing relational databases
-Experience with modern software design principles and practices
-Experience with distributed development teams that span multiple geographies, time zones, and cultures
-Experience with software development and product ship cycles, including Scrum and Agile development techniques, such as release planning and tracking
-Knowledge and experience in cloud computing and application development
-Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles
-Ability to manage multiple teams and product roadmaps
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
