Job Description:/h3:
Position Summary:
Will lead business development efforts and account management for RMBs Corrosion Protection and High Purity Division Product lines. Will work as a technical sales representative and be essential in communication between RMBs production team and the customer. Will have additional responsibilities in the quote process, contract review, marketing and other business development tasks.
Essential Position Functions:
:
Account Management. Will manage existing accounts and work to support existing business and develop new business within existing accounts. Accounts may be distributors and reps or direct end users
:
New Account Development. Will work to develop new accounts in existing or new business segments.
:
Technical Knowledge. Knowledge of the product lines and RMBs capabilities will be vital to maintaining existing and developing new business. Account Manager will develop strong technical knowledge of our processes, their advantages and disadvantages for our customers, and where they best fit in order to provide creative solutions to our customers and potential customers.
:
Quotation Management. Will take an engineering approach to the quote process, building the bill of materials and accurately estimated labor hours. Will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to incorporate their input into the quotation process.Will become familiar with pricing structure and margin requirements. Will follow up with customers and track quotes, reporting weekly.

Monthly Budget Preparation: Will prepare monthly reports and metrics for sales numbers, quote analysis and outstanding sales opportunities
:
Contract Review: Will review purchase orders and communicate project requirements to engineering via a contract review process. Will ensure, material, NDE, Quality, etc requirements are clearly communicated at the beginning of the project. Will participate in Product Definition Checklist meeting with production team to properly hand off new projects

Marketing: Will assist VP of Sales and Marketing with marketing efforts, which may include writing case studies and white papers, web marketing, and trade shows.

Will travel to meet customers as required. (Expected travel 25:50)
:
Will support the VP of Sales and Marketing with business analysis, results tracking, and other reporting requirements.
Relevant Work Experience
Preferred 2 years engineering experience. Business Development or Marketing experience is a plus.
Education Level
Bachelors degree in engineering preferred

Other Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
:
Excellent attention to detail. Ability to read product drawings, piping isometrics and understand detailed specification requirements.
:
Strong computer skills. Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office products. Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is a plus.
:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to present ideas, requirements and results effectively throughout the organization, and externally, on a timely basis. Must be comfortable talking with customers
:
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to make recommendations and decisions.
:
Team oriented style.
:
Good interpersonal skills. Seeks input and listens, and takes the time to explain recommendations.

Strong engineering skills with a desire to learn business processes.

Measures of Success
30 Days:
:
Obtain functional knowledge of Visual ERP system.
:
Able to enter sales orders
:
Able to create quotations with minimal assistance
:
Complete two days of work on the shop floor
:
Complete all safety and RMB specific training.
:
Complete monthly sales reports
:
Attend NPD meetings and PDC meetings for new projects
3 Months:
:
Managing the quotation process including creating and tracking quotations
:
Managing contract review process
:
Accompany the Business Manager on at least three
