Essential Duties 13;
:senior:level MineSight MSSO expert/engineer would be very experienced and proficient in: 1) developing advanced:level MSSO models; and 2) optimizing long:range mine plans : shovel truck utilization, ore blending, and ounce delivery. This senior:level engineer must understand the levers that maximize NPV so as to help inform short:term planning.
:MSSO model development must also support short:range mine planning, and have transparent resolution between both planning horizons.
The senior:level MSSO engineer must have vast experience building models from a zero:base and have a thorough understanding of model construction techniques to provide direction to senior management to maximize a variety of multiple outputs, while honoring a variety of constraints.
strong knowledge of hard:rock mining, shovel truck mining methods, and budget:type economic models. 13;
Training and Experience 13;
BS/MS in Engineering and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a specialty area are required.
Requied at least 5 years of the 10 years within an operating mine site with complex processes.
Presentation skills and advanced level technical communication skills are required. 13;
