Responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit(s). Role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources.
Demonstrates a high level of integrity, willingness to take on new challenges and has the ability to inspire and empower staff.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Master's Degree, preferred
Specialty certification preferred
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
5 years of experience in acute care setting
2 years in leadership:management position preferred
Current BLS or obtained within 3 months of hire; ACLS preferred
Must achieve and maintain appropriate facility identified national certification within one
year of becoming NM.
Medium Work : exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
