Penrose-St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 522-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprised of Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center. Position Summary



Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.





Minimum Education Requirements




  • High School Degree or GED

  • Associates Degree strongly preferred

  • Bachelors Degree preferred





Minimum Experience Requirements



One year of ultrasound experience strongly preferred





License/Certifications




  • For entities with shortages of qualified personnel, must be obtained within one year of hire; otherwise is required ARDMS - registered required RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR); or ARRT registered R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RVT(VT) or ARRT registered - R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS),

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association





Physical Requirements



Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
